Mindy and Donn chose to get married on one of the windiest days of the year! Well, they didn't choose for it to be windy but it was! The venue provided all the wind shelter we needed and it was a perfect ceremony filled with laughs and love. Sometimes a wedding is just extra special not because of the perfect details but because of the way a groom looks at his bride. This wedding was special because Donn looked at Mindy like he was looking at his forever. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day.

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Mindy: Our first sight, most of the day is a blur of memories but I can vividly remember Donn's face when he turned around to see me. It helps that I have pictures to look at too ;^)
Donn: For me, there were two moments that really stood out. the "first sight" that Mindy and i did before the wedding, and the look in Mindy's eyes as she recited her vows.
Any advice for future bride/grooms?
Mindy: Don't forget that the day is about YOU, it's easy to get wrapped up in trying to make sure everyone else is having a good time.
Donn: if you've picked the right girl, the day will be great no matter what happens. (sigh, this made me awe when reading it ~Chelsi)
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Mindy: Actually comes from our rehearsal - Donn kept giving me a hard time about wanting a ruffle tux so at the start of our rehearsal I made him open a gift in front of everyone.. A powder blue ruffle tux TSHIRT that he wore for the remainder of the night.
Donn: One of the funniest things during our wedding day that I'll always remember is our officiant Kevin's speech about building our life together, and how it is like building a LEGO set. Mindy truly does have all the really cool pieces i need.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Mindy: Order more cupcakes and appetizers :) We planned for more than the number of people we had and still ran out because all of our food was delicious!
Donn: I would have set aside some of the appetizers and cupcakes so i could have gotten some before they ran out.
